Climate & Energy Policy Coordinator

We are a Non-Government Organization part of global network, which is one of the largest conservation organizations. Currently we are looking for the following position for Jakarta office: 
Climate & Energy Policy Coordinator, code: CEPC

With requirements:
  • Graduate of environmental science/management, public policy, or other relevant courses with preference for advanced study degree holders
  • At least seven(7) years of relevant work experience with the last five (5) years managing a relevant program/project
  • Proven expertise and track record in climate & energy policy, economics, institutions, and frame works at national and international levels
  • Excellent knowledge of climate change and its implication to development in Indonesia, exiting policy related to climate change and its solutions, progress of international negotiation within UNFCCC
  • Experience on climate change and energy issues with economicand land use aspects
  • Experience on leading a project, minimum at national scale
  • Experience as member of an international team and work with multi-cultural counterparts
Responsibilities such as:
  1. To provide overall strategy and objectives of policy works for Climate & Energy programmefor WWF Indonesia and alignment with WWF networks policy works
  2. To ensure achievement of WWF Indonesia policy asks and support the target of WWF networks policy asks in Climate and Energy 
  3. To support, update and advise regularly Climate&Energy Director, Conservation Director and CEOon policy development
  4. To review and analyse past, existing and draft policy within the scope of work as stated in the job mission
  5. To lead and perform as primary person on policy advocacy based on Climate&Energy policy strategy
  6. To establish and strengthen partnerships and communications with key government agencies, international and national NGOs, media, WWF networks and parties at international convention(s)
  7. To participate actively in relevant meetings, consultations and Indonesia delegation as necessary called by government, civil society and/or other stakeholders
