Job Description
Cardno manages a diverse portfolio of education projects across the Asia-Pacific region. We are currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced professionals to support a large Australian Government-funded program designed to enhance education outcomes in the Philippines. The Basic Education Sector Transformation (BEST) Program is a partnership between the Governments of the Philippines and Australia, which aims to contribute to improving the quality of teachers, curriculum and assessment, learning materials and education facilities and to build the capacity of the Department of Education to continuously enrich quality, effectiveness and efficiency of service delivery.
 
The Quality and Performance Adviser will work closely with the DepEd and DFAT counterparts and will be responsible for providing high quality performance monitoring, evaluation and reporting systems across BEST including other implementing partners directly engaged by DFAT. The role will lead in providing a comprehensive evidence-based understanding of the portfolio-level results and overall impact of DFAT's investment in BEST.

Remuneration
This position will be remunerated in line with the Australian Government's Long-term Adviser Remuneration Tables (http://dfat.gov.au/about-us/publications/Documents/adviser-remuneration-framework-2016.pdf) and will fall within Discipline Group C, Job Levels 4 . (Monthly fee AUD12,545 up to AUD15,682 plus a mobility allowance and reimbursement of housing up to a set limit). The level at which the Adviser is engaged will be based on the successful candidate's relevant experience.
