MAG Sudan has made significant progress in reducing the impact of landmines and explosive remnants of war, which has included the release of 3,091,841m² of land back to local communities, who are expected to use this land for predominantly agricultural purposes. In addition, cleared land has also allowed access for development agencies and local government to access areas to provide basic services to local populations.
