Peatland Rehabilitation Manager
Indonesia Australia Forest Carbon Partnership (IAFCP) Facility is funded by Australian Aid-managed by IDSS Pty. Ltd. and Euroconsult Mott MacDonald on behalf of AusAID. IAFCP Facility seeks qualified Indonesian nationals forPeatland Rehabilitation Manager (PRM)based in Palangka Raya.
The PRMis a full-time position reporting to the KFCP Deputy Coordinator. This individual will be responsible for managing and coordinating the work undertaken by the Management Units which consists of implementing partners (villages, local government) and other team members/consultants/contractors involved in canal blocking, tatas blocking, fire management, and reforestation in KFCP area.

This individual will be responsible for managing and coordinating the work undertaken by the Management Units which consists of implementing partners (villages, local government) and other team members/consultants/contractors involved in canal blocking, tatas blocking, fire management, and reforestation in KFCP area.
The work will be undertaken according to the strategic rehabilitation plan, village and local government plans, canal blocking specifications in accordance with the KFCP goal and outcomes, while ensuring that it meets AusAID’s principles, policies, and requirements for a well-implemented development activity. He/she will plan and manage peatland rehabilitation activities, monitoring implementation progress against agreed work plans including for timeliness, quality, and risk. The PRM will identify and manage constraints to field activity implementation to ensure that all activities are implemented on time and in an effective manner. The PRM will model, demonstrate and champion transparent and accountable governance and management in all aspects of the program.
The KFCP PRMshould hold Masters or PhD degree in natural resource management or related fields. The individual should have at least a minimum of 5 years’ experience in related work, including field experience as well as a proven record in effectively planning, managing, and monitoring a program of complex multi-disciplinary field teams working in remote locations in a coordinated manner that ensures the timely achievement of high quality program outcomes.
