Finance Officer and Assistant
Danish Red Cross (DRC) Indonesia has since September 2003 developed a close and active partnership with Palang Merah Indonesia through the support to a number of programmes in various provinces in Indonesia. We are currently looking for:
1. Finance Officer (1 position)
2. Finance & Admin Assistant (1 position)
Both the Finance Officer and Finance & Admin Assistant will be responsible, under the overall management of the Finance & Admin Manager, to assist the Finance & Administration department in Danish Red Cross Programme Office in Jakarta.
The contracts offered will be fixed term employment (1 year contract possibility) and the level of salary will be commensurate to the International Federation of Red Cross & Red Crescent Societiesregulation.
Particular attention to detail and a 'can-do attitude' with flexible working hours outside of the regular daily office hours are one of the main requirements for both positions.
Familiarity with computer (Microsoft Office applications) is also a basic requirement.
Finance Officer:
Main responsibilities:
· Preparing, reviewing and controlling programme budgets and expenditures
· Preparing Monthly and Quarterly Financial Statements
· Preparing Budget analysis
· Liaise with PMI in financial matters
Qualifications:
· Strong analytical skill is a must
· Fluent in speaking/reading/writing English and Bahasa Indonesia
· Fast learner and able to work under pressure
· At least 3 years experience in a related field
· A Bachelor degree in Accounting/Tax is preferred
· Date of employment : November 7, 2011
Finance & Admin Assistant :
Main responsibilities:
· Managing cash and bank transactions and the monthly reporting
· Encoding/data entry of financial transactions into Navision (accounting system)
· Assisting procurement activities including obtaining quotations, tendering, purchase and delivery of office supplies and equipment and providing project logistics / procurement and administrative support to projects
· Assisting Finance & Admin Manager in controlling fixed assets, preparation of audits etc
· Book and issue air tickets and hotel reservations for all programmes activities
Qualifications:
· Honest and accountable
· Fast learner and able to work under pressure
· Fluent in speaking/reading/writing English and Bahasa Indonesia
· 1 year working experience in related field is preferred
