Save the Children Sweden is looking for a Consultant/Lead Evaluator to evaluate its Ending Corporal Punishment of Children Programme in the Philippines.
The main purpose of this evaluation is to provide Save the Children with evidence of the impact and effectiveness of the “Ending Corporal Punishment of Children” program and its direct contribution to Save the Children’s Child protection vision linked to reducing violence in the home. This evidence is intended to support scale up and further replication in other countries, as one of Save the Children’s Signature programs. The evaluation will look at the attitude and behavior change expected as a consequence of the awareness raising interventions and positive discipline training. It will also examine how Save the Children's advocacy efforts have contributed towards the improvement of the legal framework and policies, and the progress towards introducing a complete ban.
