Chemonics seeks a fleet and facilities supervisor for the USAID-funded Libya Transition Initiative (LTI) project in Libya. The project supports the transition from the Qadhafi regime to a free and democratic Libya by supporting civil society, strengthening local and independent media outlets, and assisting interim government. The fleet and facilities supervisor will oversee all operations and maintenance of project facilities and vehicles. The fleet and facilities supervisor will be responsible for coordinating the drivers' biweekly/monthly schedule, including scheduling field travel for LTI staff and all incoming short-term experts and visitors. This individual will ensure that the project vehicles and facilities are well maintained and that maintenance is being performed regularly in accordance with the subcontract terms and conditions. The fleet and facilities supervisor will ensure that the invoices from the transportation service provider are accurate and are submitted in a timely manner. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
Qualifications:
Minimum three years experience in a supervisory position
Experience managing residential and office needs, including responding to maintenance requests and managing supplies and inventory
Experience scheduling drivers and managing a vehicle fleet on a fast-paced project with a high volume of travel
Strong management and organization skills
Ability to solve problems and respond to requests in a timely and efficient manner
Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
Libyan citizen preferred
