Sustainable Fisheries Facilitator in Kendari

Chemonics seeks a Sustainable Fisheries Facilitator (SFF) for the Indonesia Marine and Climate Support (IMACS) Project. The project aims to sustainably manage Indonesia’s marine and coastal ecosystems.

The SFF for the Kendari Regional Office is responsible for facilitating dialog among fishing and processing enterprises, local government and coastal communities on sustainable fisheries and supply chain management
issues; promoting awareness of sustainable fishing policies and practices among extension staff, fishermen groups/cooperatives and fishing enterprises; and strengthening fisheries data collection and analysis systems in local governments in Southeast Sulawesi.



Qualifications:
· At least five years of experience working in fisheries.
· Master’s preferred or relevant experience.
· Strong communication skills, both interpersonal and written, to fulfill the technical and managerial responsibilities proposed.
· Strong English writing and speaking skills required.
