Technical Coordinator
Tetra Tech ARD is currently accepting expressions of interest for a Technical Coordinator (TC) for our USAID Indonesia Forestry and Climate Support Project (USAID IFACS). USAID IFACS seeks to reduce the threats of deforestation and climate change, and help the Government of Indonesia conserve the country’s tropical forests, wildlife, and ecosystem processes This full-time position will be based in Jakarta.
The TC supervises the Jakarta based technical unit including specialists in the following areas: governance, private sector development, biodiversity/forestry/climate change, spatial planning, GIS, community development, livelihoods, outreach and communications, training, and monitoring and evaluation. This technical unit is responsible for guiding and supporting technical support to 4 regional offices working in 8 landscapes across Indonesia (Aceh, West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, and Papua). The TC is responsible for ensuring the quality of all technical inputs and project outputs.
Required Qualifications:
· Advanced Graduate Degree in natural resources management, sustainable development, public policy, or related field;
· At least 10 years of experience implementing international development programs focused on sustainable forest management, sustainable natural resource use or related fields;
· Ability to oversee and manage a strong technical team, including multiple experiences leading teams on design, implementation, and evaluation;
· Experience working with and producing high quality deliverables to USAID; and
· Experience working in Indonesia and strong English and Bahasa language skills required.
