AADCP II Consulting Opportunities
The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Secretariat is the nerve centre of ASEAN, established in 1967, a regional inter-governmental organisation, to promote peace and stability, sustained economic growth, shared prosperity and social progress. It comprises the ten countries of Southeast Asia.
With the ratification of the ASEAN Charter in December 2008, the ASEAN Secretariat (ASEC) had embarked on an organization restructuring that is aligned to the requirements of the Charter and their respective Community Blueprints, namely: the ASEAN Political and Security Community (APSC), the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), and the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC).
Currently the ASEAN Secretariat Jakarta invites applications for the following projects under the ASEAN-AUSTRALIA Development Cooperation Program (AADCP) Phase II supported by Australia Aid:
1. Gap Analysis On Implementation of MRA on Tourism Professionals;
2. Feasibility Study for the Establishment of a Regional Secretariat for ASEAN Tourism Professionals;
3. Toolbox Development for Tourism Labour Divisions: Front Office, Food and Beverage Service and Food Production;
4. Development of Complaint and Redress Mechanism Models in ASEAN;
5. Supporting Research and Dialogue in Consumer Protection.
