Events Coordinator/Personal Assistant to Service Provider Team Leader
The Provincial and Local-level Governments Program (PLGP) is a partnership between the Government of Australia and Government of Papua New Guinea (GoPNG) to improve service delivery for the men, women and children of Papua New Guinea. PLGP is Australia’s mechanism to support initiatives of the Government of PNG that aim to improve public administration within the sub-national levels of government.
The Service Provider to PLGP is currently looking for a suitable candidate for the role of Events Coordinator/Personal Assistant to the Service Provider Team Leader at the Project Office based in Port Moresby.
The Events Coordinator/Personal Assistant will work collaboratively with the Logistics team to support advisers, key agencies and the Service Provider in the implementation of capacity building activities such as group travels, organising workshops, conferences and PLGP functions. This includes international and domestic travel arrangements.
Under the direction of the Team Leader, this person will also be responsible for the Team Leader’s calendar management, filing and document management as well as other general administrative duties to support the Team Leader. The person applying for the position must also have experience in executive support role, arranging logistics and events management and have the ability to undertake office administration tasks including taking minutes for meetings, arranging meetings and coordinating with other managers.
