Duties
The successful applicant will provide confidential counselling to officers, their families and locally engaged staff in Australia and overseas on personal and work-related matters. Duties also include crisis management, mediation, and providing specialist input and advice on deployment and debriefing.

Eligibility / Other Requirements
Candidates must provide evidence of Tertiary qualifications in psychology or social work, preferably post-graduate, with a minimum of five years supervised clinical practice in an organisational setting. Registration as a psychologist or eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers is mandatory. Applicants must be Australian citizens. This is a security assessed role and you will be required to either have, or be able to obtain, a security clearance at Secret level. Commitment to undertake travel overseas and within Australia for emergency and routine visits is a mandatory requirement for this position.
